Sandwiches for a Crowd

These have been a favorite lunch at the lake for the last few years!  Thanks Natalie!
Sandwiches for a Crowd

{You will need}
2 unsliced loaves French bread
2 lbs. thinly sliced ham, roast beef, turkey, chicken
12 to 14 thin sliced pickles (stackers)
lettuce

{The Spread}
1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2-3 TB diced (really small) green onion
1 TB Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Cut the bread in half lengthwise.  Hollow out a little of the top and bottom of the loaves.  Combine ingredients for 'the Spread' and then spread over the cut sides of the bread.  Layer deli meat on bottom halves.  Place pickles on top.  Gently press halves together.  Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Cut into 1 1/2" slices.
